For those of you who have filled up your car in the past week, you don't need me to tell you that gas prices are SKY ROCKETING! Gas prices increased about $0.10 in just one week and are continuing on. Gasoline in Connecticut, California, Maine, NY, RI, and Washington are already pushing $3.15 a gallon and it's getting closer for the rest of us. One American economist believes these prices are a direct result of a decrease in payroll taxation by the Obama administration, but I think there are so many more factors than that playing a role here.
Anyways, better hold off on the holiday shopping. At least holiday spirit comes free, right?
