China's first step toward world conquest

Is China really going to dominate the whole world? Chinese student in Shanghai outscored many other countries in the international standardized test. Shaghai students were placed first in all subjects which are reading, math, and science. Chester E. Finn Jr., who served in President Ronald Reagan’s Department of Education, referred to the Soveit satellite launching in order to express his amazement on Chinese students’ performance by saying, “Wow, I’m kind of stunned, I’m thinking Sputnik.” American officials are expecting China’s education in Shanghai to spread to other cities in China. This, according to American officials, would cause China to grow immensely. The research from the organization for economic cooperation and development reported the reason China’s education is growing as their education system focusing only on school works rather than extracurricular activities. President Obama, during his speech in North Carolina, urged American students to redouble their effort so that the United States’ educational reputation would grow.
