The United States and Israel relationship suffers made apperant by the anti-American protesters outside of U.S. embassy in Tel Aviv. The protesters believe that the Obama administrationis unjustly pressuring the Israeli to yeild construction of the Jewish settlements for the sake of Palestinian-Israeli peace talks. The pressure has put a strain on the relationship. However, one student pointed out that U.S. has been a great allie and supporter of Israel and thus they should be listened to because it is possibly in the best interest of both countries.
