President of Syria, Bashar al-Assad, ensured top State Department officials that they are not sending weapons to Hezbollah. However, the Obama administration accused Syria of sending numerous weapons to Hezbollah. Hillary Clinton, the Secretary of State, said Syria is lying. According to Clinton, Syria is currently supplying Hezbollah with ballistic missiles. According to Pentagon official, Hezbollah’s arsenal now includes up to 50,000 rockets and missiles, incluing some 40 to 50 Fateh-110 missiles capable of reaching Tel Aviv and most of Israel. Providing Hezbollah numerous weapons is extremely dangerous, since the area of Hezbollah is currently in an intense situation. Lots of countries are worried about Hezbollah’s arsenal to be used to attack Israel. Despite clear proof of Hezbollah’s increase in arsenal, Syria is currently rejecting the fact that they have been sending weapons to them.
