Chinese official visits North Korea to show support for Pyongyang

Finally, the Chinese government responded to the United States’ urge. Chinese State Councilor Dai Bingguo met with North Korean leader, Kim Jong Il, and presented a gift after United States request a proposal to take care of North Korea. China was blamed by lots of countries and especially by the United States. United States even described China as “an enabler for North Korea’s aggressions.” It is unclear whether China had acted in favor of United States or not, but the conversation that China and North Korea had was significant to consider China responding to the United States’ urge. In the meeting, North Korean official said that disputed maritime border had caused the accident of firing on Yeonpeong island in South Korea. According to North Korea, South Korea had been conducting military drills on the day of the attack and they had fired first to the North controlled waters. However, South Korea refutes that they had fired far west, which is away from the maritime border. Is North Korea trying to avoid their responsibility or what?
