The U.S. government plans to press charges on the founder of wikileaks under either the Espionage Act or computer misuse legistlation. Former Wikileak volunteers have left to begin a new rival website. OpeanLeaks, the new website that will open next week, will be more selective in what it share and to whom it shares it to. It will be impossible to identify the source which is how they hope to avoid the same problems as before. The information will not be published on the own website.

  1. Interesting! I hadn't heard about this new site yet.

Not sure what I think about this whole situation... on one hand, sites like these serve as a global watchdog. On the other hand, the information is inciting MASSIVE unrest and chaos in the world of diplomatic relations.
