Russia?! Pepsi is on the move.

Pepsi just bought Will-Bamm-Dann, a dairy and juice business, as part of it's plan to expand into Russia. This is a big deal because it is the "largest foreign acquisition of a Russian company" ever recorded! Not all stockholders are happy about this business move though and they worry that Russia isn't the most beneficial market. Pepsi nevertheless is making big plans in Russia, but not so much for their sodas. The company is moving more so in the direction of healthy choices - sports drinks, juices, nutritional foods. "By 2020, it plans to build a $30 billion global nutrition business, " one columnist states.

  1. Very few people realize just how big these companies are. Pepsi owns several companies and produces various products. Most people will never know that Pepsi is the owner of the company, since it is probably that the company will continue to run under its current name.
