Israel agreed to allow the entrance of construction materials into Gaza more than two months ago but when put to the test, they were not true to their word. Materials for schools, hospitals, and houses were permitted to be sent into Gaza by the Israeli government but very few of the materials have actually arrived. Even though it has only been two months since Israel agreed to let the construction materials into the Gaza strip, these construction plans have been in place since June of 2007. As of now, it does not look like Israel will be honoring their agreement to help Gaza anytime soon.
