Africa has developed a new vaccine to eliminate meningitis in the countries from Senegal to Ethiopia. 150,000 people will be vaccinated by 2015 and the shots will cost a little a $0.50 each. The vaccine will be more effective than the current vaccine because it will last longer and help to prevent infections.
