China, now prohibiting citizens to receive nobel prize
Liu Xiaobo, the Beijing intellectual improsoned for drafting a pro-democracy manifesto, is the Nobel Peace Prize winner who may not attend to the ceremony because of China’s resistence. American ambassador, Jon Huntsman, protested against China’s ridiculous act. China supports their position of resisting Liu to attend ceremony by saying the prize as “an anti-China farce.” Even China, during the meeting with Hillary Clinton, who is the Secretary of State, bluntly said the award as “an American conspiracy to embarrass Beijing.” China, continuing their effort to justify their resistence, dissuades other countries to celebrate the Nobel awards.
